Halloween Traditions

Yesterday was a day full of Halloween traditions. I've been debating this year on whether or not to get my kids pictures taken in their costumes. I knew I would be sad next year if I didn't, so I decided what the heck. Halloween was still a week away. So I just went and got one shot taken. It turned out so cute. Elle Belle wouldn't smile as usual. She is difficult. Next month I want to get our family pictures I hope she cooperates more. Brev was adorable, being a golfer and all made him quite excited. Isn't his smile cute.
Also last night we decided to carve our pumpkins. Thiago and Teri came over, we ate dinner together and then dived into our pumpkins. It is such a messy job but so worth it. Elle had to stay trapped in her highchair she is a bit little for pumpkin craving. She sat there so long eventually she fell asleep.
However Brevin and Carson really got into there pumpkins. Brevy kind of just kept stabbing his with his knife thing. He would get all excited as each pumpkin got finished. Quite enthusiastic. Carson made a royal mess. He was covered pretty much head to toe with pumpkin guts. Pretty crazy they both had so much fun.
Me and my cute sister. Teri always puts the same happy face on her pumpkin, this year I wanted to try one of those ones you copy. It turned out pretty cute I think. Stay tuned for the finish products.
Just a cute picture. Brevy loves his daddy.
Elle Belle admiring our work, she sat there forever looking at each one. This girl just gets prettier and prettier. Love my baby girl.

Our finished products. Elle's is the uncarved baby, Brev's is the one with circle eyes, Souli's well I'm sure you can tell which one his is. The one with the retarded smile. Mine is the one that says Boo. Fun night, big mess. I was worried my house would smell like pumpkin for to long, but by today it was gone. Next year Ter its your turn for the pumpkin fun. It was a fun night, and worth the big mess.

That looks like a lot of fun! I haven't carved a pumpkin for years, maybe when we have kids! I would agree, Elle is so beautiful, the boys are really going to love her! Oh, also your kitchen is way cute!

Ash I think that was the first picture ever that Elle wouldn't smile for, and yet it still turns out darling. Love their costumes, they turned out great. Had fun with you guys today, great job on the pumpkins.

Did you get your pictures taken at the mall with Teri's kids? I was with my mom and I saw you in the waiting area and her little boy through the window. I was too shy to stop and say hi because the only reason I know what he looks like is because of her blog and it made me feel like a blog stalker. :) I should've anyway.
